Well, from everything I've been able to find online it looks like it's a done
deal, all we have left to see is if his neck can take the strain. Did read
where there's a GP2 test scheduled for some place in the Middle East-to last a
week, to see how he holds up. But, how will you all feel about Michael driving
for Mercedes-Benz/Petronas? Will anyone start rooting for him rather than for
Ferrari as their primary choice?
For me, I would like to see him contend for the championship. I will still root
for Ferrari as a team, but will be anxious to see how the Massa/Alonso
chemistry works. And, lastly, I can understand why Nico might be a bit miffed
at the hiring of Michael, but it should be a terrific learning experience, and
Nico is still pretty young, think he'd be happy to a) compete against Michael
and b) have his terrific developmental talent be a bonus for the car's
development during the season, which could only benefit Rosberg, as well.

Should be a good season!
