I hear you, George. I am convinced that Michael didn't *want* to retire when he did, he was basically "forced" out. But, having said that, he seems to have refocused his energies to super bikes. Until he was asked (was it "asked" or "instructed", I wonder) to pick up the reins of Massa's car last year. Then, like Lance Armstrong, he rediscovered the joy of racing, and wanted back in, and Ross provided the opportunity. Now, if Button wouldn't have moved to McLaren, maybe this would have been moot, although I never did get into the reasons as to why Rubens was dropped, or did he leave, from Brawn G.P. I would say it's VERY unusual for the team that produced both the Driver's and Constructor's Championships had BOTH drivers leave the following year! I could imagine a conversation, Michael and Ross, you mean there's a seat open? You mean you'd like to be a pilot again? :) Tom in Tulsa ---- "George P." <ygpz4re [at] hotmail.com> wrote: > > I have a few thoughts, none of which are probably correct, but here you go > anyway.... > > > > 1.
