These are the heater and vacuum hoses, and they are a pain to replace. You can only access them from the front cover, by removing the wheel well covers(front and back), and from the rear engine bay. They have to be pulled out. I did it 7 years ago, and replaced everything with Gates green stripe and semi-tractor vacuum hose since I only wanted to do it once. I probably have a few photos if you want to see what you would be getting into. btw - I replaced mine because it blew at the engine connection, luckily in my garage......
