Being fascinated with anything and everything associated with the Cannonball,
I'd be VERY interested in hearing about the Yates/Gurney Ferrari
Daytona......more, please!

BTW, what was Brock's first Ferrari?

I doubt that any of you were there, but at the Natl. FCA event I am
guessing mid 80's and I believe in Atlanra ...Brock was a feted author
and gave a seminar ( which was more of a book signing).....Because I
had known Brock ( He bought his first Ferrari from me) and had spent
some amount of time with him "Canon Ball Baker" Daytona not as a
participant but as in we supplied the car to he and Dan G.......
At any rate and as usual I digress.......Brock took the podium and
started to speak about Enzo in a less than positive light   ( read his
book)....I stood up and asked him why he would choose to speak as he
was at a Ferrari event and then left the room.......I like Brock and
have since the day I met him, but have always had some reservations
   about his writing style....
And, that is all for today, Phil
