If you need parts you can always scrounge them off a gt4. ;)

A couple of friends of mine had one in high school. Two different years, I can't remember which, but front bumpers were different. They were not quick, but still pretty fun to drive when they were running. They needed consistent maintenance along the lines of a British sports car. I was over 6 ft, but very skinny in high school and I fit okay...about the same as a 308GTS. If you are thinking Fiat, I would look at the Spyder. Rumors are they are a better built car. That rumor came from one of my HS buddies that had the earlier X1/9. But, then again, that was the word of a high schooler.

Cheers,
Rick

Subject: [Ferrari] Any thoughts on Fiat X/19?

Does anyone have any thoughts on a late Fiat X/19 Bertone edition 1.5 (1985). I have been offered one in very good condition. Are they fun to drive? Sporty? I saw them as a teenager but have never sat in one or driven one. Had fun with the Alfas but looking for something a little different now. If you have been in one can I fit? (I'm 6'0) Do they have enough power to get out of their own way? Many thanks Britt BR in the UK
