Keep in mind they are sitting on 9 F430's of various flavors. That's out of 21 Ferrari's in their inventory (from webpage)... I'd go low. And nice choice with the manual. I wouldn't want one of the manu-matics. Now if you can just get Clyde to do your negotiating...

Exactly! I'd pick a spot inbetween that would satisfy your need not to pay too much. Given that there are few resources out there to compare prices on, this is going to be somewhat of a gut feel. We already know, or feel that $120K is too little and you aren't going to pay $159,900. Offer them $130K and see what they come back with. You can always walk away and tell them that it is a standing offer and that it ends as soon as you find a 2007 430. Good luck! That is a gorgeous car and its about time you got one! ;) JIM

Oh, this i know - they serviced my Esprit V8 years back.

They are good guys. (Both Sean and Tim Beers)

That said, it's a buyers market now, and for the forseeable future.

So, the real question is (for me):

"What is a realistic, yet-not-insulting offer".

I know it isn't $159,900. - that's way above Market.

It's probably not $120,000 either

It's somewhere in between.

Manheim is no use - checked it - too few F430's being
auctioned - likely because people REFUSE to lose the money
on the cars. Stupid IMHO.

Jim,
Sean Harris (Steve Harris Imports) is a great guy to work with. He's
a very straight shooter and they stand behind their cars and service work.
I bought my 550 Maranello from him (over the phone) in 2008 and they
shipped the car
to me in Seattle. Gary

For a while - initially they had it listed at 179,900.

     They reduced it to 159,900.

Personally, I think a lot of dealers got into these cars
in trade at the "exact wrong moment" and now they are waiting
for the sucker to come along.

Truth be told, I love the car - but I will NOT pay too much.

I just want to have a 'correct' but not 'insulting low-ball'
     offer for the car.
