Yes yes - Z1. The fellow who had it at a Brawley autocross in CA, um, 20 years ago (gads - twenty??) was from the Dutch consulate. As long as he renewed the vehicles visa - he could have it here. Nice color combo on the upholstery - the M color scheme - Red for Texaco, Blue for BMW and a 50/50 mix of the two primary colors for the purple. Interesting car.

    Sliding doors?  Think Kaiser Darien (sp?) - doors slid into
    fenders.  Or more recent, the BMW M1 (or was it a M2?) where the
    doors slide UNDER the driver/passenger seat!
