I thought so but it turns out the firm in the UK has a hold and blessing or parts.  MarParts I think.  I managed to get some unobtanium '78 seat rails through Motor Service from the UK.

SO, if we were to, um, need some 'exotic' parts for, say, a 308 engine rebuild or somesuch, somebody knows somebody in Maranello who can get pretty much ANYTHING we need, F-car parts-wise?

Do tell more.....

Flavio is no longer there J Claudio is the manâ.

I believe that all their old stuff was packed up and sent to MarCon in the UK . I donât think they had a choice in the matter although I would be happy to be corrected. As for newer parts, well, they are pretty close to the source so things arrive pretty quickly J

Hmmm, well, that explains why my pal Flavio hasn't returned my emails.

I think it's right across the street from the Porsche dealership - well, concessionaria.  And oh yeah, a buffet.  Point and grunt and at the cashier pull out a bunch of money and let them pick what they need.

BUT the factory restaurant in '79 - Yeah - the Cavalino - When Tibor and I were there in August '79, it was a Pizzeria.  I took pictures in there too.  Cute place - all the stools slip into a rail under the tables enabling the brooms to zip zip zip.

We ate there when the guard at the empty factory hand signed and somehow got it across to us that someone would be back at 1:00 who could speak English - long story short - we got a tour from a guy in an Armani kinda suit named Pierro.

I gotta find his name - can't be THE Pierro but I do have some pics - hey, Pierro has gotta be a popular name, eh?

Waiting room was one F1 car sized with yellow checker board tiles with alternating prancing horse and plain yellow tiles.  On one side of the single F1 Ferrari was 12 and on the other 11.  Jody's name on one side & Giles on the other.  Hey, save space, eh? heh heh
