I never did get used to eating a burger while tata's were loose nearby.... ;-)

Hi guys,Back in 1968 I was in NYC training for a Federal inspection job; we were occassionally sent to the SEALAND container terminal where John Gotti got started and most of the prototypes for the GOOD FELLAS movie. Of course the big heist was at JFK. In my three months there I never saw mob guys grab anything but some of the staff and cargo workers really were after all they could haul away. For example, a buddy fumbled into some guys taking furs out of an air container. He just walked by as it wasn't his assigned area to work. The next day in the parking lot a guy ask him what size coat his wife wore? He tried to turn down the offer but then his "new friend" explained what the consolation prize was. Not wanting a couple of 22 shorts in his ear, he graciously accepted the coat. When word got around, my buddy was transferred out of state for his safety. Nobody ever followed up on the hijacking. Of course crime has its own rewards and a very poor retirement system for most organized participants. Just look at the cartels in Mexico currently!
