Here is the issue in a nutshell
For the money you can get more performance 
Granted its not a Ferrari but what you are buying is a very OLD Ferrari with
mediocre performance.
A 1997 Vette that ZR1 that you can buy for 20k has more bang than a 3 series
Ferrari
So you have to know what you want and balance it with your check book.

In reality the best car for the buck out there in "F" land right now is the
430.
It has not belts to replace and it's a 458 knock off, that in my opinion
will be around for a looong time!
