Karen and I lived in Shanghai from 2004-2006. We used to joke that the national bird was the construction crane and if you didn't keep moving, they'd build you into the foundation of the next skyscraper.

Wow! That's a lot of construction in 20 years! Sheesh! From: Mike FleischerSent: Wednesday, June 09, 2010 8:46 AMTo: Larry TurnerSubject: Re: [Ferrari] ChinaOK
When quality is a goal, Chinese kick some serious ass. They have the manpower and low labor costs to make just about anything happen. The flip side of this is if its not a goal the work gets done in a very hap-hazzard and ad hoc fashion and you can see it plainly from the results. I had 3 trips to China last year 7 weeks total and I have never seen the level of construction and expansion that China is experiencing. Its astonishing. The fishing village of 1980's Shenzhen is now a modern city twice the size and population of NYC...

Also that tall tower with the square hole in it on the right (SWFC) is getting a taller building put in right next to it, they build a floor for that building every 2 weeks. The SWFC build I think was 104 stories, and taller than the Sears Tower.

Hi guys,China's current RED FLAG limo made in Changchun, Jilin Province is one of the most expensive production cars in the world.Eighty used in the recent National Day military review in Beijing were immediately sold afterward to anxious buyers.Just think what might evolve if performance road cars became a manufacturing focus?Of course roads need to improve in quantity but infrastructure is expanding there too.Ciao!Dale_________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit:http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/themightytoe%40gmail.comSponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
