Yweah - the HUMAN side of racing from the Hoi Pole channels - ye Gods - I recall about 1999 when who ever was doing it on regular Hoi Poli channels they CUT to a COMMERCIAL with about 2 laps to go. So what? Wellll, the leader ran out of gas, number two stopped mid track to get a girls address and the 10th on the grid did a bank shot and spun and won going backwards won. Sheeeeeet. Then they cut back to the announcers to say BOY - wasn't that a thrilling ending. Too bad we have to skip the interviews - they're European and probably don't speak English anyway - so Here we are - sorry for arriving late in the third frame folks, BOWLING FOR DOLLARS - take it away Kitty.

Yeah, Larry - ya bring up a good point.

Hi All -
FYI - the F1 race will be aired on Fox TV tomorrow starting at Noon
Eastern Time.... don't bother looking for it on Speed, for all of its
faults, Speed provides much better coverage than any other network - even
if they use the same narrators the editors (or whoever controls the cameras
being used) seem to think we all want to see the "human side" of racing -
while the race continues. I might be interested in some details (but
probably not) but not while the race is on! The classic example was showing
details of the royal family while the Monaco F1 race was going on in the
background and un-viewable.

Anyway - the race is tomorrow.....
