A full day per corner sounds like a bit much. If all the fasteners are corroded and need to be heated for removal etc. maybe. But still that sounds highly exaggerated. I would think a few hours per corner maybe 1.5 days for an experienced professional. I would hope this is including refinishing/plating all hardware and parts for that $$

I had a mechanic do this for me once.....worst financial mistake of my life. Its a simple DIY job you can do yourself in a couple of weekends, including vast amounts of preservation/cosmetics work on the A-arms, sway bars and all hardware. I had shocks installed, new shock bushings, and a new spring installed (one was broken) with the springs cleaned-up. I think that cost me over $7,000 right there......and I paid for all of the Shocks and shock-bushings that I got as a complete kit from Ted Rutlands.

It may be that long if he's never done it before. I think I spent
around $1k in labor when I had it done. Parts came from Superformance
in the UK.
