Besides the Falls, we enjoyed the Old Fort Niagara State Park about 15miles north.  It will provide an
historical background to your trip.   'Maid of the Mist' boat trip is obvious mandatory event as is viewing
from the Canadian side but the Canadian bus tour was a bust of tourist souvenir traps.

I will be on a road trip through Boston and on to Niagara falls next week, should get to Boston Friday afternoon, stay the weekend and head out Monday or Tuesday.  If anyone has any pointers and stuff that is a must see/go please send :)
