Hi Ed,

This worked for me when I mistakenly deleted a email account in OE recently.  Go to Tools/Options/Advanced/ then click the Maintenance Tab.  That will show you the location of your email storage area.  Write it down.

 

The go to File/Import/Messages/OE6 (IIRC) and then it will ask which folders to import.  If you pick the wrong email system it will just say it didn?t find anything  and you can try a different selection.

Changed email address from cox.net to att.net  Was told by some people that my old emails wouldn't go away.  Well...where are they?  Not in my current Outlook Express emaler-are they on my hard drive somewhere?  Lost contact information, etc.
