Do a proper PPI, get some records and then offer this place $25k.

 

If the car is solid, put in $5k with your mechanic and you could end up with a decent car.

 

It's not like you asked "is this car perfect and issue-less for $29k?"

Guys,

So you're saying you'd rather spend $70k on a "mint" 348 or 80k on a 355? LOL.

If you're willing to put in the money, you can at least be rest assured you're doing it right yourself instead of relying on a more expensive car's maintenance history.
