No Ferrari on this cover - BUT it was a good cover.  The last issue of Sports Car Graphic -

 

Picture this - high on a grassy hill across the bay overlooking what may have been San Francisco bay - a clapped out old Triumph with the entire staff sitting on the car.

 

The cover title shouting - OUR FINAL TRIUMPH

 

Good one, eh?

My favorite magazine cover of all time is the November 1987 Car and Driver featuring the F40.  More importantly it was the first time that I saw the name "Enzo" in print.  This may sound corny but as soon as I read the name I vowed to use it if I ever had a son.  Fast forward 18 years to November 26, 2005 and I made good on my vow.  I still have that original issue of Car and Driver and my son is more than I could have dreamed of back then..
