I remember vaguely one year in which a couple of Nascar boys did well at ROC.  When it was mentioned to them that they beat Schuey in the Ferrari road car portion of the event they said that they probably got lucky and that Schuey had very little time in the car like they did.  The announcer then said that "No, he was practicing and helping setting up the course."  It was a complete surprise to them!  I really wish there was a chance for some of the Nascar boys to test in F1 or GP2.  It takes a good pair to drive Model T technology as fast and well as they do.  JPM does well enough in Skittle bowls, I'm sure some of the good ole boys would be faster than... Badour!

Schuey jumps into a car designed for someone else and he can't adapt.

Honda, Ferrari, Braun, MB.  All under the design of the same person - Ross Braun.  The people who design the Civic do not design F1 cars.  You really can't compare the brands to their worldwide counterparts.  When a team changes ownership/management in F1, all you essentially did was change the hood ornament. I don't think Braun is as "brilliant" an engineer as everyone makes him out to be.  It may take him awhile but he is capable of designing a championship car.  We just really have to give credit to the current engineers at Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Red Bull etc for making good changes faster and that there are some really good drivers in F1 TODAY.

Just some random thoughts.

Nice stuff Rodney...

Makes you wonder about the Race of Champions (ROC)....did MS ever win that?
