Did anyone else see our pal Clyde's letter to Car & Driver recently about the Lexus LFA?

Of course, they mislettered his name - Clyde, instead of cLyDe, but it's always nice to see a friend in print...

Subject: [Ferrari] clyde prices

Gentlemen I know there are those out there skeptics if you wish that don’t believe that I know what I am talking about when it comes to my pricing.

I just recently helped a local Ferrari owner with his car, who happen to be a large automobile dealer in the area that had access to the Manheim (sic) Auto Auction web site.

On this web site you can see any car that was sold at auction all over the US.

It was an eye opener to say the least.

Naturally I punched in Ferrari, and low an behold, my prices that I quote  listers were within $2k !

For example a 2004 575M silver/black with 6k sold for $84K, there was a 97’ 355 GTS red/tan sold for $56K with around 20k miles on it.

In other words I am not that far off with my pricing.

I have un fettered access to this site from now on.

Good hunting !

Also a 575 Super America sold for $199K a high I thought but it went.

Gotta go motorcycle racing!
