I am seeing more and more 308/328 cars around now. Not as common as more contemporary models in the greater NY and Long Island area, but the price point of these cars is now where people could afford to purchase them. Likely, what happened to the vintage models years back where owners could purchase the car, but could not afford to maintain them. We will likely see 10K 308 with seriously deferred maintenance in the coming years.

Agreed - especially the car guys of the '80's.
Sheeeesh - you donna ever see one of those contraptions anymore.
Heck - hardly ever see 308's
The shame of it all.

I hear this all the time...
But I have a hard time imagining the lay public is even aware of the kit car market....I thought only car guys knew of their existence.
