Don't forget heater hose and the brake vacuum hose that go through the rocker panel if the engine is out.

I think I was charged 12 hours for the last one. The bearings are the
expensive bits, everything else is relatively cheap. But if the lump
is going to come out, you should replace all of the rubber bits while
you are in there, fuel lines, water lines, breather hoses, etc...

Robert,

Matt Boyd (me) has done a timing belt change and valve adjustment on his 308 in a weekend. I logged my hours and it took 25 hours. I am not a mechanic, and some of those hours were wasted trying to figure out the best way to do things (for example how to deal with removing the A/C compressor and moving it out of the way without breaking lines, etc.). If Matt Boyd can do it in
25 hours, a real mechanic can probably do that in 10 hours or less.

Note, this is not a full 30k service, but just the timing belt and valve
adjustment.

Parts were a couple hundred dollars ($400, as I recall, to include cam
belts, cam belt tensioners, gaskets, distributor seals, the o-rings on the
other end of the cams at the pulley end, etc.).
