Mike, With those lofty choices, what did you buy, and what were your impressions of the M3 (other than POS), having owned an example of the previous E46 model? Nice!!! I love the popping it makes near idle... Just like my Vette :) WOT sounds better on that thing though... While out car shopping last Saturday I stepped into a showroom to test drive an M car and thought I was in the wrong place... Tons of Lambo's Ferrari's and Porsches (and a few odds n ends)... They had 4 Gallardo's, all 6 speed manuals. They had 3 Scuds and 1 599 all video game... But the coolest car they had was a superperformance GT40 replica (Gulf oil colors), RHD, Gurney bubble, fantastic machine and absoulutely gorgeous, no expense spared reproduction... I had to apologize for drooling all over it. The M car was a POS, but I did end up buying a car later in the day, will pick it up next week. Mike Jason Rogers jarogers [at] cedarpointcom.com |
