Matt,
I am going through a similar exercise right now.  I have chosen to purchase from Costco due to there "free" 2 year support.  I have purchased a Dell PC from them in the past, and the support was right there with what my company contracts for with IBM.  For the Dell it was on-site support.  I am not sure if on-site applies to all PC's.  It would be worth checking out.

All,

I'm about to go on an extended business trip (~4 months) and want to get myself a new laptop and probably a new PC for the family. Our computers/laptops are woefully out of date (I think the last computer I purchased was a used one about 5 years ago).

Basically I want to enable Skype and internet comms on both ends, as well as DVD viewing (preferably Blu-Ray but not required) on the laptop. So I need webcam, wireless, and DVD in both. I'm a cheapskate, and I know that Cyber Monday promises to have a lot of deals out there, so if you have any deals you personally have seen today I'd appreciate your passing them on. If I hear nothing, I'll look at the usual sources such as buy.com, newegg.com, and the regular big box places like Best Buy and perhaps direct through Dell, etc.

Thoughts?

Sorry for the NFC intrusion.
