Normally, that may sound weird, but I do the same for our annual Montreal trip to see the F1 race!

Need more BHP each year.

A Cheve Avelanche, they don't make manuals. I had a 1999 Cheve Silverado extened cab 5 speed manual 4x4 and loved it.

I was looking at covers in 2002, I was hauling our daughters 2 sons, along with my wife to DisneyWorld. So I got in the back seat while my wife drove around, it just was not big enough for a 10 and 7 yr old brothers for 3000 miles.

So I bought a 2002 Avelanche on Thursday and drove it to Florida on Friday.

Skip forward to Nov 2004 our daughter had 4th (2nd girl) in August 2004 so I had to get an Avelanche that would seat 6  - we would take the grandkids out to our house every other weekend.

 

When you live in the country, you need a truck.

In go-karts and my Avelanche, I left foot all the time.

In 89 after my crash at Laguna Seca, I had to pass a driving test in an slushbox (automatic - for the youngn's on the list) and I told the tester left braked and he told me NOT IF I WANTED TO PASS, so rigtht footed and passed.

You know, all the complaining about paddle shifts got me thinking that at the very least the owners should learn how to left foot brake...

Anyone on here comfortable with it?
