"So I got in
the back seat while my wife drove around, it just was not big enough for a
10 and 7 yr old brothers for 3000 miles."
You bought a car for one trip?
Normally, that may sound weird, but I do the same for our annual Montreal trip to see the F1 race!
Need more BHP each year.

A Cheve Avelanche, they don't make manuals. I had a
1999 Cheve Silverado extened cab 5 speed manual 4x4 and loved it.
I was looking at covers in 2002, I was hauling our
daughters 2 sons, along with my wife to DisneyWorld. So I got in
the back seat while my wife drove around, it just was not big enough for a
10 and 7 yr old brothers for 3000 miles.
So I bought a 2002 Avelanche on Thursday and drove
it to Florida on Friday.
Skip forward to Nov 2004 our daughter had 4th (2nd
girl) in August 2004 so I had to get an Avelanche that would seat 6 -
we would take the grandkids out to our house every other weekend.
When you live in the country, you need a
truck.

Anyone on here comfortable with it?
