No issues with it, but if you do it:
1. Don't go too dark. I did my black Corvette's windows in 5%
tint. Looks awesome but I can't see a damned thing out the back at night. Makes
backing up quite the challenge. In our state 20% is max legal for back and rear
windows and 35% is max for side windows or windshield strips. Anything darker
needs a doctor's note.
2. Make sure you see the film on a car window before having it
applied. When they tinted the side windows of my Durango the film had an odd
green tint to it that wasn't obvious until it was on the car. Looked weird on a
black truck with stock charcoal tinted rear windows. Eventually had to take it
off and redo it.
3. Make sure the film has a warranty against fade/color
change. Nothing cheesier than a Ferrari with a purple bubbled tint on the back
windows... :-)
