That is very very sad news indeed.

I never met Tom  - in fact we probably never came within hundreds of miles of 
each other - but I counted him as a friend in my life and will miss him.

My condolences and very best wishes to Karen, and if anyone who knew him better 
is in contact with her, I do hope you will pass on those sentiments.

May you rest in peace dear Tom.
