Advantages:

Introduces him to the scream of a Ferrari V8 (always a good thing!)
Plenty of heat to keep him warm
Doodling on the engine cover window with his fingers will keep him occupied
Can't smell his dirty diaper
Can't hear him crying
No throwup on the leather upholstery
Pedestrians on the sidewalk can admire and coo at him when you're stopped 
at red lights
Doesn't take up limited interior space

Disadvantages:

Disapproval by know-it-all, busy-body, butt-in-ski neighbors
Possible visit by Child Protective Services Agency
