Hey Charles,

Don't hold back, now! Tell us what you really think! ;-)

Cheers,

Grahame

Wow! Whole lotta FAIL going on for me at those links...

Agree with you on the Alfa - she's pretty! Like an Elise where they
cancelled the cute and replaced it with real presence. Nice! Not sure
about the strangely matte paint though. Odd...

Aventador - bleah. Great side profile. Nose is cool from down low, but
from normal viewing angle it's all Japanese catfish. But the rear -
yikes! Those huge expanses of space on either side of the window? Is
this a car or a buffet table? It's the Gallardo's fat-ass Aunt Esther.
>From some earlier spy photos I thought it really needed a rear wing like
the Countach and Diablo, but now I see that that would just make it look
like a biplane. And are we really going back to louvred rear windows?
Really? Time to call DMC for my pimped DeLorean. The interior looks
nicely done, although the Aventador font is a sad "I swear to God I'm
from the future!" cry for help. I'm sure it will be fabulous to drive
but it won't be the stuff of legendary posters.

The Huayra! Wowsers! A total WTF conglomeration of every possible car
idea. "Let's stick on some leaf shaped mirrors so people know we're
green, let's stick on some carbon fiber so people know we're cool, let's
mix it with paint so people think we're Bugatti, lets steal some cheesy
rims off this 50's hot rod, let's carbon the hell out of the interior so
it's undriveable if the sun's out, let's make the speakers look like
bullets out of a ricer Honda, let's chromate everything in the engine
bay so it looks like a lowrider, let's mold our name into everything
like a Rockford Fosgate SPL contender, let's take these otherwise cool
seats and add some sort of carbon fiber bodily fluid disposal tube,
let's add a vibrate function to the tube so at least you get simulated
sex for your $300k, let's have Paris Hilton design the dash out of last
year's Prada and some leftover Rolex parts, and let's bring it to the US
where rich people will buy anything. Score."

For the Bimmer, I really like the nose forward of the rear wheels
(would've looked right on a Dodge - what the new Charger should have
been) and I really like the tail, but everything in between is too
Speed-Racer-meets-Z4. Yawn.

Guess I'll go check out the rest since I'm on a critical roll... :-)

Seriously guys?

Are you that shocked about the hideousness of the FF that none of the
other fantastic cars are getting commentary or is it just too much drool
to type on a keyboard effectively?

I'll start:

I want one...

6

I kinda want one but not really
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/lamborghini-aventador-lp700-4-geneva-2011
/

Needs a better headlight and front end treatment, rear exhaust is pure
carporn.

And maintaining the tradition of building truly ugly cars that still
make you stare

Seriously? the 4C is gorgeous.
