Hi
Several years ago I ran RED LINE OIL 20/50 or 15/50 in a Lingenfelter 383 CI built on a GM LT1 engine for 100,000 miles plus in SW Texas. At that time that was Lingenfelter's choice. It seemed to work very well in hot areas. I used their WATER WETTER in the coolant (2 bottles) & other lubes too in trans and rear end. Never had failures although trans was at design limit and rear end way beyond. They give out lots of comparison tech data too. The only issue was it was hard to find. Only a couple of speed shops in San Antonio always had it in stock. It costs slightly more too but not too much compared to a breakdown happening sooner. I give it a "thumbs up!"
Ciao
