Phil,
Hes just joking he had one he loved. I meant the body design, look at the area around the air intakes behind the windos, the trapazoidal hood shape even though its reversed the flat hood the large windscreen etc. Just like PF many designers recycled their best design components in different products, the diablos air intake is exactly like the GT4's when looked at directly from the side and also designed by Gandini. another example of him recalling something he liked and using it in another design.
Ill try to find some simillar pics of that part to post

I am not a big fan of the car in later variants but I think the original 3 I think without all the vents, bumps etc is the most beautiful cars ever made. Same designer Marcello Gandini designed the GT4

I keep telling him to keep her, as I continue to believe that she has the potential to be one of the best collectibles in the next 20 years.
Under 1250 made in all the variations - from 4 litre to the 25th anniversary.
More posters, photos, etc, then anything other than Farrah Fawcett.
And pretty much EVERYONE recognizes it on sight.

A couple of friends had them. You can't see out of them in most directions, brakes suck, very uncomfortable with crazy offset pedals, and a/c really not up to the job of keeping you cool when sitting behind that huge glass windshield on a summer day, even if you're driving it nude. But it's the first car I think of, when "exotics" are mentioned. I still think it has more "Oh my God" factor today, than any Diablo, Enzo, SLR, etc. I think they're pretty cool. :-)
