Re: How old is the Ferrari List?

Guess it's my turn.  Joined the list around 1997 or 1998 about the time I bought my '87 TR which I still drive daily.  Then organized a Northeast list meet around Italian Car Day at the Auto Museum in Brookline MA with a buffet lunch at the then FofBoston.   Had a bunch of white on white embroidered "Ferrari List" polo shirts made for that.  Who still has one of those?

Hope there isn't something real sad to read into that.  Wade
Nunez probably knows.....

I got my first Ferrari drive from Jim Perry of Medford, OR.
He later moved to Italy, which didn't work out well.  Last
I heard he was on the East coast somewhere.

BTW, remembered (at 3:00am!) the name of that other lister
that I rode with in the Schumacher doll charity rally - (drum roll)
Graham Welland.  A Brit living in Portland, his company called
him back to London several months later and I haven't heard
from him since.

That name rings a bell...

Speaking of which, instead of dwelling on ourselves why not turn this discussion into one about "listers gone AWOL"...

Here's my list:

Jim Sloves - gave me my first Ferrari driving experience 10 years ago this November! My first time in Miami was more memorable because of him...
Dave from Nawlins - a cool dude that has been MIA for quite some time now
Sam Sapienza - had an X1/9 and a 308 I think....he is old school F-list, like '96-'98....he once sent me a videotape on something or another, nice guy.
Emily Durham - one of the few f-list chicks...

There are other names that will come up at some point....guys like AJ Merrifield, Lee Lingo, John Allison have popped up on the 'book'...(aka F.B.).
