Hi Jim, Hope your next is also a Ferrari or that it at least gives you a lot of pleasure. I've had my 308gt4 for nearly 19 years - often wonder what I'd get next. But this old girl and I have had a few adventures together, so I think I will keep her even when I get another, possibly in the next 12 months. For me, I have found that when you bend the body work but then repair it to better than before, when you blow up the motor but make it better than it ever was, when you work on this bit and that and hopefully make each bit better than it was, you feel really bonded - totally irrational but who said life has to be totally rational! Cheers, Grahame in Sydney P.S. I will be visiting USA and Canada from next week for a couple of weeks and then Europe after that. Would love to meet some of you if that could work out. (California next week, then British Columbia, then New York and Philadelphia, then London....) -----Original Message----- From: JIM [mailto:jimshadow [at] frontier.com] Sent: Saturday, 23 April 2011 4:19 AM To: Grahame Cc: The FerrariList Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Time for change (Sold my Ferrari) Hans, you actually talked me out of a GT4 that I had a deposit on. ;) I was intent on a Platinum Award Winning GT4 and backed out after our discussion, which made me realize that what I really desired was a perfect Driver, not a Perfect Show Car! I recall that conversation well! JIM ----- Original Message -----From: "Hans E. I remember that we chatted briefly one evening before you bought it, but I thought that was only maybe 2 years ago.............. Time flies, yada, yada. Hans. Ownership of my little GT4 (affectionately referred to as "Ethel" by my Daughters) has been amazing, however, the time has come for change. If the pic attaches to this message, you'll see that she headed to her new home (YES Rick, I refer to the car as "her" ...LOL!). Back to California it goes. The new owner is going to take over right where I left off....motor is coming out an the car will be painted it's original Dino Metallico Blu color according to him. In the meantime, I'll be saving for the next Ferrari......Change is good! :) Jim Sent from my iPhone _________________________________________________________________To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit:http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/jimshadow%40front ier.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlineshttp://www.F1Headlines.com/________________________________________ _________________________To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit:http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/grahame%40reintha l.com.au Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlineshttp://www.F1Headlines.com/
