WOWSERS - I forgot about the trouble light plug in.  As we know, the early 

308s cigar lighter is worthless for charging - in fact it is worthless to 

even light a cigarette as ALL the smoke just goes into the cavity and covers 

the electrical connectors with cig smoke and goo.  Luv-ly design.

Hey all,

I'm thinking of putting together a charity event here in Shrewsbury on

October 1st, and was hoping to get ten cars here to give "Ferrari Rides 

for

Charity" to kids in town.  My hope is that with 5 - 10 rides per car, at 

$5

each, we could raise $1000 to feed starving children here in Worcester
County.  It would only work if we could get enough cars together though.
Not sure how many we have.

Can anyone who might be interested chime in?

I have not run my 1978 308 GTB since the first of Jan 2010.....
I am shocked at my slackness....

WELL, I went out and ordered a new battery for it today.

PS - get a Battery Tender - MUCH more than a 'trickle charger.'  Oh, and
when you do - be SURE to attach to battery first THEN plug in.  That sets
the Tender's innards.  Comes with a quick disconnect that you can leave
attached to the battery which is buried under the spare.  Good design, eh?
