OK gang – Here is a solution – and the only learning
curve will be getting the calipers off and on and setting the pads up correctly
with a .006 feeler gauge. DOUG From:
pmbperformance [at] gmail.com [mailto:pmbperformance [at] gmail.com] On Behalf Of Eric Shea Hi Doug, We do restore Ferrari calipers: The
914-6 and Ferrari calipers are virtually identical with the exception of the
bleeder being placed on the opposite ends of the calipers. Happy to help. Eric On Sun, May 22, 2011 at 1:30 AM, Doug and Terri Anderson <dnt [at] dock.net> wrote: Hello – Your
product sounds nice. Now here is a zinger and you may have had this question
before – but bear with me. Ahem – um,
as you no doubt know, the early (75 – 85?) Ferrari 308’s have a very similar
rear brake arrangement – the difference is an added spacer to make up the space
for a vented rear rotor and the brakes are mounted with the P-brake arm at the
top. Question –
do you restore these brakes too? Thanks Doug
