1981 308 GTSi: Remember my winter project ? I
decided too take the a.c. condenser out. The a.c. had never worked in the 9
years I had the car.. Well it does make a difference. Not much but worth it.
There was a LOT of dirt between the radiator and the condenser. The gauge goes
to 195 quickly as soon as I leave the highway and get back into town into
traffic. But as soon as I take off from a corner, it sorts of cools down a bit
each time.
I also changed the thermo-switch (?) at the
bottom right (passenger side) corner of the radiator and it makes the fans
start earlier than before. Maybe 5 degrees earlier.
