         Texas should be about seven states as regions are vastly different in demographics, attitudes, politics, economics, and many other factors. Add in the tremendous immigration of foreigners from other states and countries and you can

find a real mix of people. I've been here mostly since 1968 and the changes have been enormous. The future will bring more no doubt? Just enjoy the diversity and find folks you are comfortable with. They are there. Especially in the urban areas. Although niches exist where to be accepted socially you must speak Check, German, etc or Spanish, those are rarer every day. Try Luckenbach or the Salt Lick on a Summer weekend and enjoy real Texas.
