Oh, Chris, in addition to the other great
points preceding this note, one other thing – if you have never driven a “cold”
Ferrari before – many of them make shifting from first to second miserably
noisy. Best to go 1st to 3rd. The gears are
big and heavy and the syncros labor in cold transmission goo. Also another
point - the clutch is more of a “switch” and doesn’t like
being slipped too much. Warm up for our 78 308 GTS is about 3 to 5
miles. Once there – 1st to 2nd is no problem.
Hey, if you can double clutch both up and down when cold – it will
respond well to that too. Onward DOUG From: Mallory, Chris
[mailto:chris.mallory [at] mlb.com] Hi Ferrari
ethusiasts. I am a first time Ferrari buyer and love the 328. The above car
looks enticing and clean but there are indications the odometer has been rolled
back. Would anyone be kind enough to have a look at this and offer their
opinion On whether or not
this could be a “good” risk? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My sincere thanks for any feedback! This is the second listing of this car it
didn’t sell the first time. From: Charles Perry

machines? Oh yeah, turn 1 at any F1 track... :-)
