Sorry, but I'm not a German car guy....

So, how is "Merc" pronounced?  "Merck"? or
"Merse"?  (not to be confused with Merde).

Never figured out how they ever got
"Bimmer" out of BMW.

But this is from a guy that translates "puddle
in the garage" into "Ferrari".
