Have you ever replaced fuel vent hoses? Where do you fill up, at a gas station after you just drove it? If you have not replaced the vent hoses (including the filler hose) your playing a fireball. if want visible proof( I do not recommend this) when you get it home, let it cool down overnight, Then top it off from a gas can I mean to where the gas is next to overflowing the filler. Put the cap back on give it at least an hour and see(smell) follow your nose use a flashlight and shine it on the tanks, I think you will find the source, my money is on the vent hoses on the tank Passenger side (left hand drive).
