Have you ever replaced fuel vent hoses?
Where do you fill up, at a gas station after you just drove it?
If you have not replaced the vent hoses (including the filler hose) your playing a fireball.
if want visible proof( I do not recommend this) when you get it home, let it cool down overnight,
Then top it off from a gas can I mean to where the gas is next to overflowing the filler.
Put the cap back on give it at least an hour and see(smell) follow your nose use a flashlight and shine it on the tanks, I think you will find the source, my money is on the vent hoses on the tank
Passenger side (left hand drive).

My 1985 308QV started stinking up my garage from gasoline about 3 months ago. However, not everytime I go for a drive, then park it in the garage, does the garage stink from gasoline. There are no drip marks on the floor, nor can I smell any particularly strong gasoline odors unique to either side of the engine compartment.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can find the leak, or whatever??

      Thank you,
