No, no trade. I am cursed with wanting to keep every car I buy. I'm sure I'd get to try a lot more things if I wasn't that way, but once I fall for something I fall pretty hard.

 

I did have to promise Susie this would be the last car until we pay the house off. And I should've spent the money to start building my garage since it is stupid to have a high-end car collection and a house with only one usable garage space (or is it - Matt?  :-)).  This one will have to live at my office for a while. And I had to buy Susie a barn and another horse. But I digress...

It doesn't happen too often, but I'm excited to announce that I've added a new member to my collection. Today I finalized a deal for an Aston Martin Vanquish S.

 

A few of you know I've loved this car since it came out and they've finally depreciated to where I could do it. I've been looking for about a year and found the right car at Scottsdale Bentley a few months ago. We struggled through a two month negotiation, starting at cLyDe price and heading north, and finally came to an agreement.

 

I considered a 550 or 575 for a few months along the way but in the end I kept going back to the Aston. It's just one of the sexiest cars ever built.

Special thanks to Brian Buxton for some advice and insight during my negotiations. Hopefully I'll have some driving impressions in a week or so... :-)
