I have a red 1981 308 GTSi:
I received my new GLIDDEN paint decal from
EUROSPARES.
The one that's on my car (under the engine cover of
course) is so bad that I can't read anything except the numbers 590-5-190 at the
bottom. I have no idea if it's an original decal. But it's a GLIDDEN
too.
The new one has 2 rectangles that need to be fill
up with information:
One says TIPO/TYPE and the other one No (as in
#). What am I supposed to print in the TYPE rectangle ? Is it the name of
the color like ROSSO CORSA ?
For the No (#) I think I only have to print
"300" right ?
When I get my touch-up bottle here in Montreal, the
sticker on the can says ROSSO FUOCO (FIRE RED) and the number is
300.
I don't think my car is ROSSO FUOCO because I don't
think they had that color in 1981, right?
When I bought the car 10 years ago, the number used
to be 300-6.
What do you suggest I write on that decal before I
put it on.
Thank you!
