a good friend has a BW and it's the one boat he will probably never part
with. We both kept sailboats at the same marina and he took care of mine
when my health prevented me do so - both sailboats are long gone but the BW
still is in his backyard ready whenever he or his daughter want to go out.
He started letting his daughter take the BW out on the Ches Bay since she
was 13 yr old - he knew the BW would always get her home.
The engine is probably the most critical part of your choice. hard to go wrong with the BW. everyone has their preferences -but, IMO Honda makes an awesome OB.
Good luck - LarryTThe 2 happiest days in a boat owners life? the day he buys a boat and the day he sells it. ;-)

Anyone have any experience with Boston Whaler's Montauks? Looking for a general use boat I can use on the lakes near me and the family place on the intercoastal in Florida. Not going to use it in real blue water.
