Doug I think I'd let it go ... regardless of what happened with the Ferrari deal and MS, you didn't really go about the broker process correctly and you had no paperwork signed, so that's over and done with.  Since then you've aired some supposedly dirty laundry in public on this forum and via misinformation and maybe some misunderstanding on your part you've dragged some people's name through the mud.  As well as shared some info publicly that was sent under the assumption of privacy.  I'd drop it all.  I don't know how the gemology business works but in the car business this isn't the accepted behavior.  Regardless of what ClYde says, there are some honest dealers / brokers / enthusiasts out there with values and morals and business ethics.  All these exchanges are getting you nowhere, except to mar you're name and reputation.

Douglas, like I said, gentlemen solve their problems quietly. Publicly posting my personal response to your personal email to me is beyond creepy.

I have never written an article on a 512 S. You requested copies of a series of articles published in the Ferrari Club of America's Prancing Horse Magazine. I had nothing to do with the writing of articles nor did I have anything to do with the publishing of the articles. I didn't have the articles available to copy for you so I did you a favor and sent you the details as well as I remembered. You've used my quote out of context however, the owner and the builder of the car were completely candid about the project. The fact that they allowed the author free access to the details should confirm their honorable intentions.

This will be my only response to your post. I don't know who's right or wrong on your SWB deal and I don't care. I'll add however that your integrity in posting my personal correspondence puts anything you say into question.

I have served the Ferrari community for over 35 years. My door has always been open for anyone who needed information. The most disturbing part of your intrusion into my private life is the reservation that I will have in sharing information again. I respectfully ask that you do not post or forward any other correspondence that I may have shared with you.
