Regarding the final link Brian posted ("how-ferrari-spins") - I really don't think this is anything new....  Looking back through history, I think this sort of thing has been going on since Enzo's earliest days.  Didn't he get an Italian race cancelled in the 50's when he knew that Mercedes was going to humiliate his cars on track?
