Indeed...we could have a race if Shell could write a big check to the White House.

No pit area at the Lincoln Memorial at all, but the Constitution Ave stretch could have some merit...then a turn up Rock Creek Pkwy.

DC pull it off?  They are more than willing to put on a street race but all cars would have to have catalytic converters, mufflers, and run on bio fuel.  Besides the agreed bi-partisan course runs Constitution Ave to 15th St to Independence Ave to 23rd  St .  Ptis at the Lincoln Memorial.

They did move "it" to the fall for the Austin ...too bad Laguna Seca couldn't support the modern cars.
 
And too bad DC can't pull it off either...
