All I know is a member on this list had two Fram filters internal filters collapsed, and the insides are very cheap. And I can repost it but UFI had a bad design a while ago that popped the gaskets blowing oil all over the engine.

Th Baldwins that have been cut open have very good internals and are based on designs which are used in heavy equipment which is their main customers.
