Th Baldwins that have been cut open have very good internals and are based on designs which are used in heavy equipment which is their main customers. Robert W. I have always used the UFIs on my 308 and am concerned enough about my engine not to switch. I use K&Ns on my Miata, though several reviews indicate that the K&Ns di not have as fine a final filter screen as others, like the Pure-One. I use RedLine 20-50 oil.
