I think the disparaging remarks between Ferrari brokers can find another venue.  If we're going to disparage crooks, let's stick to the elected and appointed ones ...  here's my vitriolic invective to ring in the new year ...

Bush and Obama are indistinguishable.  I look forward to them both behind bars.

As for expensive hotel stays, regardless of the cost of operating the office of the President, he can spend money as fast as he likes, take it home in suitcases of 100's if he wants, it will never amount to the billions and trillions Obama and Bush have cost the government by aiding and abetting the daylight robbery of the banks by the bankers.  And it's still going on today.

Worse still, now the protestors in the US are being systematically hunted down and arrested in their homes, and the media is simply not reporting the protests or this sinister behavior by the government to suppress dissension.  Frightening "change" we're getting when the President decides to appoint high office positions at his individual choice, to write unconstitutional powers into law in the final hours of new year's eve and to publicly state that the crimes of bankers were not crimes.

Hope and change has turned out to be just chump change.

Car was likely seized, and is now in the 'public domain' again.  Sheehan isn't shilling it for Spellman, who is already out of prison if you bothered to read the Wiki article....

No... but, it's a car that the notorious MEL SPELLMAN had modified to race.

He stole/spent the money from dead people's estates on a bunch Ferraris.

I haven't read all the blurb in that ad.  I'll assume it reflects sincere pride in this -- let's call it unique -- '81 308.

As an "outlaw" or hot rod, it's an interesting looking machine, I have to say, not too shabby as a DIY effort.

If I put on my dreamer's cap for a minute, imagine this car has been constructed to the same chassis dimensions and stiffness, the same suspension geometry and the same weight distribution as the GTO it -- let's say it "resembles."  Setting aside all the prudent concerns of safety (not wanting that engine to implode a few inches from my brain and my balls) or reliability (not wanting it to crack open at a suspension pick-up point while over 130 mph on a track somewhere) and dream a little about just driving it (and not necessarily letting anyone see you driving it ... : )  I think it could be a helluva rocket ride.  Might even give a brief glimpse into the experience of the 288.  Anything's possible.

Without making an issue of where this car is being advertised, what do you guys think:

Looks cool, performs well I'm sure, sure it sounds pretty nice.........just an issue of "kosherness". The interior is "interesting"...

Obviously this isn't a Fiero 308, so a discussion I think is legit.

That rear shot is Violence with a capital V!!
