No real surprise that the Countach and Pantera were out front. They're both amazingly capable Dallara chassis...superb machines.

Exciting to watch those machines maneuvering in the wet.  Brave souls.  

Hard to imagine anyone risking those cars today, let alone wheel to wheel in the wet.  The Mura is still a super looking super car.

Full credit to the driver of the Countach for ... well ... for just not crashing out ... anyone who has driven the Countach -- let alone in the wet! -- knows they's a heavy handful to keep tidy at the best of times.

I'm guessing the poor bugger in the Daytona had "a moment of quiet reflection" when he lost it ... fortunately he was able to fill his tires with mud and then drive straight back on the racing line to share the joy with everyone else ...
