The 308 setup seems very close to the TR setup. Here is my step-by-step for re-working the TR windows. Looks like it should help:

There are small screws around the periphery of the leather.  There are 2-3 nuts to be removed from under the arm rest.
The motor gearhead has a cable wrapped 5 times around a drum and fed around pulleys below the window
and clamped in two places under the window itself.  It will become apparent with the door panel off.  However,
it can be a bitch to get the cable back together.  Firstly, you should remove the motorgearhead (take pictures first),
there are 3 nuts to remove.   Then remove the grease which solidifies in the gearhead.  Repack grease.
Now the fun to keep the cable wrapped around the drum while reinstalling the motor.
You will have more questions but start with the panel.

Subject: [Ferrari] 308 window issue...

Hiya people,

A year ago my RHS window on the 1978 308GTB seemed to come off it's track and ended up at a funny angle.. I managed to get it shut and have not opened it since!
But I expect I had better fix it...

Anyone have advice on getting the inner door panel off???  I would hate to do it the wrong way and break something that some advice would prevent.

Regards
Gavin
