Last time I went I stayed downtown as it's only one subway stop to the track/island. There are plenty of nice hotels to stay downtown. Once you park your car if driving I never moved it. After the race just hang out and wait for the subway station crowd to thin it won't take all that long. Sit back and enjoy a cool one. Oh and have fun. There is something about waitresses speaking french, everything sounds good.
